Moon Report

The Moon is a huge ball of rock. The Moon isn’t a planet. The Moon was created when a rock the size of Mars slammed into Earth.

The Moon has phases Full, quarter, Waxing, Waning, Gibbous.

Neil Armstrong was the first person to go to the Moon.

The Moon has quakes. These are caused by the gravitational pull of the Earth. Lunar astronauts used seismographs on their visits to the Moon; the Moon sometimes is also referred to as Luna .   

The Moon is moving approximately 3.8cm away from our planet every year. Twelve people have walked on the Moon. The Moon shows us her light inside the Earth. The Moon lights up the whole sky with a bright light.
